We do have a lot of bridges here in Brisbane. So I dug into my 2011 – 2012 photos and came up with a few.
This is a night pic of the “Green Bridge” which links the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus with the south side of the Brisbane River. It is for cycles and pedestrians only, and dedicated buses carrying students. No cars allowed. Also known as the Eleanor Schonell Bridge

The mighty Victoria bridge. Its the main artery into the Brisbane CBD from the South Bank, carrying all the buses plus plenty of traffic along with cyclists, pedestrians and tricycle taxis. On the opposite bank, a familiar background to most ABCTV broadcasts the Riverside Express motorway. With its feet planted along the banks of the Brisbane river.
