  • A doorway in Ballarat, Victoria

    Ballarat was proclaimed a city in 1870 around the time of the gold rush, and is known for its historic bluestone buildings. The shiny polished handrails in this entranceway caught my eye while I was there. I assumed it was a bank entrance but these days it is a mayor and councilors’ office. Read more
